Launch and Grow Your App

After building your integration, the next step is to get listed in Clio's App Directory. Once your integration is ready to launch, email api.partnerships@clio.com to start the process.

Launching in the App Directory requires a few steps to be completed. The steps are outlined below:

Step 1: Complete the security and compliance review

Once you've emailed api.partnerships@clio.com indicating you're ready to go live, Clio will send you our security and compliance questionnaire via OneTrust. Once you've filled out the questionnaire, Clio's Application Security and Compliance team will review your submission. If everything looks good, the team will approve the integration and you'll move onto the next step. Otherwise, the team will request clarification or provide feedback on areas of improvement. We aim to review questionnaire submissions within 2 business days.

Step 2: Demo your integration with us

After our Application Security and Compliance team has approved your app, The API Partnerships team will reach out with a link to book a live demo with us. This is an opportunity to tell us about your company, your customers, the problem you're solving, and show us how the integration works. We've put together a detailed guide on demoing your integration so you know what this process entails and how to prepare for a successful demo.

Step 3: Create your App Directory Listing

After your successful demo, the API Partnerships team will provide you with a App Directory listing form where you can provide the content that will appear on your app directory listing. After you've completed the listing, API Partnerships will create a draft version of your listing page to review for correctness.

Step 4: Launch

After you've signed off on the listing, the API Partnerships team will make it publicly available, releasing your integration into the world! Post-launch, Clio can also support promoting your launch in a number of ways.
